What is Tumbling?
Tumbling is a form of physical activity that involves a chain of actions such as flips, jumps, somersaults, handsprings, rolls and much more to create a routine to perform on a padded floor.
Is it like Gymnastics?
Gymnastics, is very spread out where there are different categories such as Artistic Gymnastics that perform in different events like the pommel horse, vaults, and rings that do not allow tumbling. Rhythmic Gymnastics where they are a different category that challenges the athlete’s movements in elegance and finesse. Tumbling would commonly be seen in cheer or dance routines.
Anyone can do it and you don’t need to be at a level of experience to learn. At L.A.S.G. we are offering this Sunday Tumbling Clinic from 1PM-3PM. Coach Yefim has invited a Surprise guest to aid him in curing your ailment preventing you to attempt or perfect your tumbling!
