Thanksgiving Break Camp

Thanksgiving Break Camp

The week of the Thanksgiving holiday is approaching, and LA schools will be on break. Wondering what to do with your kids while you’re at work or preparing for a family feast? Los Angeles School of Gymnastics is ready to help. We’re running a three-day day camp for children and teens who may be interested in learning more about gymnastics, or who want to get in some extra practice while they’re off school. Learn more about our program below!

Thanksgiving Break Camp-2

Your little ones will doubtless have a lot of energy to burn off during the Thanksgiving break, since they’ll likely be excited to be off school. Have no fear, though. They’ll get plenty of opportunity to be active at our day camp. We have options available for half day and full days, 9am-12pm or 9am-3pm including optional early and late care between 8 and 9am and 3 and 6pm. Morning sessions are focused on gymnastics, while afternoon sessions can vary between dance, sports, and games depending on the day. A hot lunch is available for a small fee in the hour between morning session and afternoon session.

Who Can Come to Camp?

Thanksgiving Break Camp-3

Los Angeles School of Gymnastics can cater to children between the ages of 2 and 15! Kiddy camp is for children between the ages of 2 and 4, while our mainstream camp is for kids between 5 and 12. We also have our teen camp available for those between 13-15 years. As well as gymnastics classes, other activities on offer include parkour and slacklining. Activities are suitable for both boys and girls.

Why Choose Gymnastics Camp?

Thanksgiving Break Camp-4

There are so many benefits to your kids participating in gymnastics camp. Firstly, it’s a great opportunity to meet other children and make friends. Working together on new physical challenges and striving to improve their skills together is a great bonding activity that can build confidence and children’s social skills alike. Of course, there are also the physical benefits of children practicing gymnastics: better aerobic fitness, increased strength and flexibility, improved motor skills, and more physical dexterity. These skills are transferable to other physical pastimes and sports, and will stand your child in good stead if they continue their pursuit of gymnastics after the camp.
