LA School of Gymnastics draws on a distinguished and diverse group of nationally and internationally trained coaches from over 14 countries. All coaches are required to complete the USA Gymnastics (the national governing body of gymnastics in the United States ) and OSHA Infant & CPR certification courses. Ten LASG coaches have a Master’s Degree in Physical Education, Anatomy and Physiology, or are former professional athletes. Together, its 21 coaches have over 120 years of combined coaching experience.

Alla Svirsky

Executive Director

Alla Svirsky is a three-time Olympic coach, seven times USA Gymnastics Coach of the Year, USA Olympic Judge and Inductee to the Gymnastics Hall of Fame. Alla holds two Master’s degrees in Anatomy and Physiology and Physical Education. She has been with the school from the beginning and continues to take an active role in both domestic and international gymnastics. She represents USA Gymnastics on all Continents as Head Coach. She has placed two gymnasts on USA Olympic Teams and has coached 15 USA National Champions. She was a USC Artistic Gymnastics Head Coach for seven years. Also, for eight years, she served on the USA Gymnastics Board of Directors.

Tanya Berenson

General Manager

In 1995 Tanya Berenson found an interest in a position at a non-profit organization at the Los Angeles School of Gymnastics ( Since this time, she has founded a program for Special Education for Gymnastics and started programs including the LA Lights Tournament of Champions ( The LA Lights Meet Tournament has is the FIRST FIG ( competition that has ever been sanctioned in the United States.

She has also served as a consultant to USA Gymnastics and help co-found Cheer4uAthletics which is the FIRST All-Star competitive Cheerleading Team in Los Angeles ( She has come from an All-Star gymnastics background and her mother is Alla Svirsky who is a 3-time USA Olympic Judge, USA Inductee to the Gymnastics Hall of Fame and founded Los Angeles School of Gymnastics ( She currently resides in Beverly Hills, California ( and serves as a Board Member for the Hampton’s Homeowner’s Association (

Michelle Franco

Morning Shift Manager

Origin: Colombia

Michelle Franco has been with LA School of Gymnastics for over 3 years and serves as the Morning Shift Manager. She has a young daughter and extensive experience working with children. Michelle manages the Charter School programs exclusively help at LASG, homeschool groups classes and overall provides an excellent customer service experience for all of our client. Michelle is studying to be a licensed ultrasound technician outside of her time at LASG to further her experience helping mommies during their pregnancies. Kennia Reyes

Office Secretary

Origin: Mexico

Kennia is currently attending West Los Angeles College and plans to transfer to a four-year university to obtain her degree. As a nursing student, she is passionate about working with kids. She works hard and encourages kids to do the same. She believes that every child can be a role model. She sets a great example for younger kids that is why everyone loves being around with her. Perla Rosales




I was born in L.A. but lived in many states. I have a medical assistant diploma. I enjoy working with all types of people and also with children since I have a one year old. I am fluent in Spanish and English.


Jessica Mejia

Administrative Assistant

Jessica mejia. Born in Bakersfield CA. Los Angeles resident for the last 6 years. Ive done many sports from boxing to cheerleading. I have a 6 yr old daughter who i hope to introduce to gymanstics one day. I’m glad to have the opportunity to work here and see the many social interactions since my career goal is sociology with more emphasis on children.


Keyana Ri’chards

Social Media Director

Keyana Ri’chards is a professional writer and serves as the Social Media Lead at Los Angeles School of Gymnastics. You may see Keyana taping a livefeed on the @LosAngeles SchoolofGymanstics Instagram or FB feed, yup that’s Keyana and feel free to stop by her office on the 2nd floor if you would like to know more about LASG social media or would like to contribute content. Keyana is a true supporter of the arts and the opportunity LASG offers the community while expanding online presence in a safe and ethical practice for its families.



Senior Accounting Officer

Mila has a real knack for numbers. Born in Siberia with a passion for violin and piano, she was recruited to London to complete a Masters at a top financial University where she met her husband. As a 20 year veteran in accounting, Mila truly holds an important role in operations at LASG. After traveling for work in the field of accounting, she has received many accolades for her work in forensic accounting and Mila is delighted to be part of the LASG family.


Flor Bedolla

Customer Service Officer

MFlor is LASG newest addition to the customer service team!

As a young leader in the community, Flor regularly volunteers for many charitable schools in the greater Los Angeles area. Flor is pursuing higher education in Education and has earned an Associates Degree from Santa Monica College as she is currently completing a masters degree. She is one of our newest members of the Hispanic family services department. She has found a dream job working with children at LA School of Gymnastics!
