LA School of Gymnastics Stars Shine at the 2015 Summer Academy Meet

June 9, 2015

Los Angeles School of Gymnastics kicked off its summer of spectacular events and programs with the 2015 Summer Academy Meet on May 3rd as we kick off celebrations for the annual “Olympic Day” festivities. At the Academy Meet, each child participating received an official “Olympic Day” participation certificate issued by the United States Olympic Committee. Led by Alla Svirsky, four-time USA Gymnastics Coach of the Year, USA National and Olympic Coach, and Inductee to the Gymnastics Hall of Fame, along with Olympian and LASG 3-time Olympic Coach and Silver medalist Yefim Furman. The Academy Meet was established to provide the young gymnasts of the award-winning LA Gymnastics youth program an opportunity to demonstrate what they have learned after months of hard work in a traditional competition format. At the event, 84 of LASG’s star students showed off the incredible talents they learned from LA Gymnastic’s top tier coaches. Great job to all the students that attended!
