| The Los Angeles School of Gymnastics has teamed up with Cheer 4 U Athletics to bring back the cheerleading program. Under the direction of Joana Trocan, the LASG is now the home of the Xtreme All Star Competitive Cheerleading Squad. Additionally, an array of cheerleading programs is available and includes Cheer Power Tumbling, Stunt Clinics, Summer Day Camps and Private Cheerleading Camps.

 In October, the USC Competition Cheerleading team will begin practicing twice a week at LASG. The team is composed of 25 female cheerleaders whose goal is to represent the University of Southern California at numerous regional and national cheerleading competitions. They perform elite cheerleading skills such as stunting, tumbling, and dancing. Some of the past honors and awards the team has received include: 2005 USC Recreational Club Sport of the Year, 2006 COA Open National's All-Female Collegiate National Champions, and 2007 2nd place winner at the U.S Spiritleaders National Championship and the UCA West Coast Championship.
